My  love of music  goes back to the mid 50s, when I also became interested in how amplifiers were built, this led to designing and building my own system then starting a 5 years apprenticeship and attending Belfast Metropolitan College achieving a City and Guilds qualification. I then combined my two loves and opened  Moores Hi Fi in 1967 in Newtownards, County Down, near Belfast and Bangor introducing Hi FI products never before  available in Northern Ireland , these were chosen to offer the highest quality reproduction of music in stereo, I  do not stock any cinema surround equipment.

I am the sole Reference dealer in Ireland for Chord Electronics,  PMC Loudspeakers, LFD and newly appointed distributor in Ireland for Graham Audio BBC design loudspeakers.  Studios such as Abbey Road London, Sony Studios New York, Skywalker studios California, Royal Opera House  London , to name a few use Chord Electronics. I am sole distributor in Northern Ireland for ProAc.

I also stock Naim, Spendor, Chord Cable Co., Ortofon, Project. I have been trading with most of

these manufacturers for many years and I  offer a relaxed  high quality service
